Everything tastes so good and we always recommend Back Country as one of the best bbq places in the state. The employees act friendly and provide excellent recommendations and service. “ Great food and the staff were so welcoming and patient! I brought a large party of 12. Called 30 minutes in advance and they had a huge table set up ready for us handled the order beautifully. We only had one side item missing and they got it to us immediately. I will be back and will always recommend them to anyone looking for good bbq. Also ADA friendly which is a huge plus since some members of the group are wheelchair users. ”

“ Back Country BBQ delivered the goods... via GrubHub. The food was delivered on time, and was still warm. The food container was nice. I had a pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides. The pulled pork was more like chopped pork, but it was delicious and smoky. The hot sauce delivered a good degree of heat. And, the sauce was in a small container on the side... just the way I like it. The BBQ beans were delightfully piquant, smoky, and had a little heat of their own. The baked potato casserole was a very filling side. It had a spice I could not identify... kind of warm and earthy... very tasty, and complimentary to the BBQ. (Was it just toasted potato?) My only regret is that I didn't order peach cobbler. ”

The place feels very homey and it probably has to do with the trophies that were donated by a long time customer because his wife made him deconstruct his man cave and the pretty stained glass windows. Sides were all so tasty sounding it was hard to choose but I settled on the cream corn and baked potato casserole both again. Have had other more expensive "big name" BBQ places that didn't come close to this flavor. Definitely a hidden gem. The staff was all so friendly and welcoming I'll definitely be making this my regular Dallas area BBQ joint whenever I come to town. ”
